A leading manufacturer of custom-engineered industrial mixing equipment, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to join the team in Dayton OH. As the Manufacturing Manager, you will oversee and optimize the entire production process for engineered-to-order mixing solutions serving industries like chemical, pharmaceutical, food & beverage, cosmetics and more. You will drive continuous improvement in manufacturing operations, production scheduling, quality control, cost management and on-time delivery performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all manufacturing activities including scheduling, workload monitoring, outsourcing, inventory and quality control • Implement lean manufacturing principles and initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste • Ensure manufacturing processes comply with ISO, FDA, and other regulatory requirements • Analyze production metrics and develop action plans to resolve issues and enhance performance • Collaborate with engineering, purchasing and other departments to streamline workflows • Directly supervise manufacturing staff including hiring, training and performance management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations or related field or 10 years equivalent experience • 5+ years of manufacturing management experience in an industrial/engineered products environment • Expertise in lean manufacturing tools like 5S, kaizen, six sigma, etc. • Experience with manufacturing execution systems (MES) and ERP software • Strong leadership, problem-solving and project management abilities • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
