VERDANT'S WORK

Public Hospital District #2, Snohomish County, founded the Verdant Health Commission in 2012 to better serve the healthcare needs of the residents in South Snohomish County. Revenue from leased properties provides funding for collaborative grantmaking to nonprofits in the community that deliver essential services aligning with Verdant's strategic priorities. A five-member board of commissioners governs the strategic direction, oversees operations and awards funding for the Verdant Health Commission.

JOB SUMMARY

The Community Engagement Manager is a multi-tasker with the ability to build strong coalitions and partnerships through community outreach and engagement, and events management. The incumbent will have demonstrated success working with diverse communities and experience with recruiting, managing, and retaining a group of volunteers. This role will deepen relationships with community-based and public agencies that are built on respect, trust, and transparency and promote Verdant's mission to improve the health and well-being of the South Snohomish County community.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will five or more years of community work with experience in health promotion or community engagement programs preferred. With a degree in health, human services, social work or related field preferred. Bilingual is also preferred.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Salary Range: $69,628 -- $99,445 (Hiring Range Depending on Experience)
