Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Marketing AU, you will be responsible for the planning, implementation, management and ongoing optimisation of paid search campaigns to deliver on new account goals by region. You will collaborate with SEO to ensure a holistic approach to search.

With your ability to deliver results and bias for action mindset, you’ll play a key role as part of a performance team, that ensures we have recruited enough delivery partners to fulfill Amazon’s promise in getting packages to customers. You are analytical and have a good eye for detail, and are a seasoned expert in driving audience via paid search campaigns.


Our team operates out of our fabulous CBD office conveniently located near many transportation.

Key job responsibilities

• Develop and execute Amazon Flex's paid search strategy to achieve new account goals in each region.

• End-to-end management of paid search campaigns, from budget allocation to ad creation, targeting, and ongoing optimisation.

• Conduct analysis of varied data sets to identify key trends, insights, and opportunities for optimisation.

• Build and execute an ongoing experimentation plan to validate hypotheses and recommend performance optimisations that lead to achieving maximum ROI.

• Partner with SEO to ensure a holistic approach to search.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with the broader marketing team and other stakeholders to develop compelling marketing assets and messaging that resonates with our target audience.

• Monitor and report on key paid search metrics including traffic, leads, new accounts, CPA, conversion rate.

• Provide input to forecasting, goaling and weekly reports, highlighting key metrics, trends, and actionable recommendations for improvement.

• Keep up to date with the latest advancements in paid search and performance marketing strategies, product updates and industry best practices.

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, platforms, and best practices, with hands-on experience managing campaigns in Google Ads

  • Familiarity with digital marketing metrics including CPL, CPA, CPC, CPM, LTV and ROAS

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs

  • Comfortable with some ambiguity, and ability to work independently

  • Verbal and written communication skills; ability to write succinct and compelling activity performance reviews and recommendations

  • An ability to collaborate cross-functionally, ensuring effective communication with internal teams and external agencies/partners
