Job Description

Looking for senior full stack Engineer with experience in custom built data warehousing projects, automation tools built using Java/Python and strong knowledge SQL/PL-SQL

  • BS or higher degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent from top university

  • 10+ years of successful distributed and scalable system software development experience, including exposure to range of technologies – Java, Python, ETL/DW technologies

  • Strong understanding of data structures, framework and experience building them with large-scale, complex data sets.

  • Experience in performance tuning SQL and understanding ETL pipelines

  • Build, Configure, Manage and Coordinate all Build and Release engineering activities

  • Ability to solve complex engineering problems and provide solutions

  • Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

As a member of the software engineering division, you will deliver on following responsibilities

  • Ownership of technical designs, code development, and component test execution to demonstrate alignment to the functional specification.

  • Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs

  • Using configuration management and integration/build automation tools to lead and deploy Java/python code.

  • Design declarative data warehouse transformation rules/guidelines, for extraction/sourcing, loading and transformation

  • Use SQL queries/custom scripts in Python etc. for rapid prototyping data model/transforms

  • Ability to work in an extremely fast paced and challenging, global environment
