W e are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator to join our team.

Job Description: As a Payroll Coordinator at Moore's Electrical & Mechanical, you will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of payroll processing for our employees. Your role will ensure that payroll is processed accurately, timely, and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Maintain and update employee payroll records, including deductions, benefits, and tax withholdings.

  • Verify timecards and attendance records, addressing any discrepancies promptly.

  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports and statements.

  • Handle payroll-related inquiries from employees and resolve any issues.

  • Stay current with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and ensure company compliance.

  • Collaborate with HR and Accounting departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.

  • Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 processing and reporting.

  • Perform payroll audits and reconcile any discrepancies.

  • Support other payroll-related projects as needed.

    Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of proven accounting and/or payroll experience.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus.

  • Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification is a plus.

  • COINS ERP experience is a plus
