M&T Bank Senior Learning & Development Manager in Abilene, Kansas
Location – Remote Eligible but will require Travel - 50% to various locations with M&T Bank Footprint

Your Typical Day
You teach engaging leadership classes to elevate the leadership performance of individuals and teams.
Facilitate training courses that develop executive teams professionally and seek to meaningfully deepen relationships with those executives
Collaborate with M&T Learning team, business line leaders, and client leadership to design and conduct high-impact trainings for teams and leaders
Although you will not have direct reports, you invest in the development of your peers by creating professional development experiences aimed at leveling-up the team’s leadership and delivery acumen.
Other responsibilities:
Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand
Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable
Complete other related duties as assigned
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in work experience.
Minimum of 5 years' training or related experience
Minimum of 2 year managerial experience
Various training certifications dependent upon business/function supporting.
Excellent knowledge of personal computers and software utilized by department.
Education and Experience Preferred:
Demonstrated experience in training or coaching executives on leadership concepts (e.g. strategic communication, creating vision, inspiring others, influence, building alliances, growing financial value, developing talent)
Demonstrated experience in motivating individuals to adopt new leadership habits
Demonstrated experience in selflessly helping peers grow to meet their professional goals
Demonstrated experience in strategically leading through ambiguity and complexity
Location: Remote – USA (Buffalo, NYC, Boston, large city in footprint)
Travel - 50%
