M&T Bank Senior Learning & Development Manager in Abilene, Kansas

Location – Remote Eligible but will require Travel - 50% to various locations with M&T Bank Footprint

Your Typical Day

You teach engaging leadership classes to elevate the leadership performance of individuals and teams.

  • Facilitate training courses that develop executive teams professionally and seek to meaningfully deepen relationships with those executives

  • Collaborate with M&T Learning team, business line leaders, and client leadership to design and conduct high-impact trainings for teams and leaders

  • Although you will not have direct reports, you invest in the development of your peers by creating professional development experiences aimed at leveling-up the team’s leadership and delivery acumen.

Other responsibilities:

  • Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand

  • Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable

  • Complete other related duties as assigned

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in work experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years' training or related experience

  • Minimum of 2 year managerial experience

  • Various training certifications dependent upon business/function supporting.

  • Excellent knowledge of personal computers and software utilized by department.

Education and Experience Preferred:

  • Demonstrated experience in training or coaching executives on leadership concepts (e.g. strategic communication, creating vision, inspiring others, influence, building alliances, growing financial value, developing talent)

  • Demonstrated experience in motivating individuals to adopt new leadership habits

  • Demonstrated experience in selflessly helping peers grow to meet their professional goals

  • Demonstrated experience in strategically leading through ambiguity and complexity

Location: Remote – USA (Buffalo, NYC, Boston, large city in footprint)

Travel - 50%
