Compensation and Schedule for the Medical Assistant
Medical Assistant – Full-time, $20-$22 per hour, Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Join a busy medical office with a positive working environment!
Required Qualifications of the Medical Assistant
3+ years of recent medical assistant experience required
Internal or Family Medicine experience preferred
Medical Assistant diploma or certificate required
High school diploma or GED required
Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen
Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant
Greet and check in/check out patients
Handle referrals and authorizations
Answer phones and schedule appointments
Enter patient information and med reconciliations into EMR system
Prep patients for provider
Perform blood draws and injections
