The BAE Systems site in Aiken, South Carolina, supporting Combat Mission Systems is seeking two Quality Auditors (Receiving Inspectors). In this role as the Quality Auditor, you will support on the 1st Shift.
Included duties:
Inspect machined and/or welded parts to blueprint requirements for shipment to customer base.
Provide auditing support to shop floor operations.
Be able to support the 1st shift Monday-Friday 6:30 am thru 3:00 pm.
Overtime requirements vary due to support of customer needs.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Typically requires high school diploma or the equivalent.
Experience with and or knowledge of basic inspection tools including scales, calipers, micrometers, height gages, etc.
Able to read, comprehend, and work to blueprints.
Able to support the 1st shift (Monday-Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm.
Typical experience and educational requirements are a High School Diploma or the equivalent, and 1 year related work experience.
May consider candidates with additional experience for a more senior role.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) experience.
Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) knowledge and experience.
Weld Inspection knowledge/experience.
Faro Arm/Laser Tracker or Keyence experience.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $42436 - $67898

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
