CHC Addiction Services Medical Assistant in Akron, Ohio

CHC Addiction Services is a non-profit social service agency in the Akron area whose mission is to treat, inspire, support and empower individuals and families impacted by the disease of addiction. Work week will be Monday -- Friday, 40 hours a week, starting as early as 5:00am and working no later than 2:00pm.

 

Duties include:

  • answering phones
  • making appointments and assisting the providers by rooming patients.
  • performing medical tasks as assigned and phlebotomy.

     

Minimum Requirements: Candidate is required to have high school diploma, Medical Assistant diploma/certification and experience preferred. Must be detail oriented, have excellent customer service skills, be available to work early in the morning, and be comfortable working on the computer. Must be able to work both individually as well as part of a team. Current CPR certification preferred.
