R2Net Inc. is an innovative technology company that provides e-commerce and supply chain platforms to connect the entire span of the diamond industry’s ecosystem, including manufacturers, retailers and consumers. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Quality Control Team.

JOB OVERVIEW:

As a Quality Control Specialist, you will be working on identifying risks and analyzing the condition of diamonds and jewelry pieces. Responsible for assisting the team in making thorough decisions and solutions to achieve company goals.

The position entails managing time effectively among daily responsibilities and production goals. Quality Control Specialists are required to have a GIA graduate degree with a passion for fine jewelry and diamonds. This individual needs to have excellent time-management skills and be able to multi-task while staying organized.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspection of fine goods such as diamonds, gemstones, finished jewelry.• Documenting inspection results and entering gemological data onto company database• Maintain tracking databases of all incoming and outgoing purchase orders• Communicate between R2Net customer service team• Performs additional duties and projects as assigned.• Consistent regular scheduled attendance is considered an essential function of this job.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate Gemologist - GIA Credentials Preferred• Knowledge of diamonds, precious stones, semi-precious stones and jewelry manufacturing• Strong interpersonal and communication skills• High standard of workmanship with experience in gold, platinum and precious metals• Strong Computer skills• Ability to check the quality of jewelry under microscope• Provide support to the team in processing and completing

Base pay range: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour. Final pay rate shall be determined and is based on experience and qualifications.
