If you exemplify teamwork, respect, responsibility, compassion, integrity and professionalism consider applying for a job at Teresian House.Role Responsibilities:In conjunction with the Interdisciplinary team, oversee the care of all the residents on his/her neighborhood.Creates and maintains a work environment that promotes and fosters a resident centered care model with a team approach.Initiates and completes all investigations of incidents on unit within five (5) calendar days of discovery. May assign designee in his/her absence. Ensures that proper documentation is completed. Keeps Nursing Administration aware of all investigations and submits completed investigations to Nursing Administration.Ensure work schedules are completed for all team members according to approved budgetary guidelines.Oversees and contributes to recording of all documentation on unit including intake and output, weights, ambulation logs, etc.Monitors the units (by making "rounds", conducting audits, or completing surveys, etc.) to assure that all personnel are utilizing appropriate techniques regarding accident/incident prevention; sanitation; infection control; fire safety; disaster preparedness and emergency care.
