Saint-Gobain Human Resources Administrator in ALBION, New York

The Human Resources Administrator will assist the Human Resources team in daily activities and administrative duties. The incumbent will be a self-starter and take initiative, have the ability to succeed in a fast-faced and results oriented environment, and deliver valuable partnership to the HR team, front-line managers, and employees in the areas of employee relations, policy communication, direct labor recruitment support and on-boarding. They will also assist with any administrative work as needed.

Job Duties Include:

•Administering the recruiting function for salaried, hourly, and temporary employees, i.e., recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and orientation. Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) and staffing report for the site.

•Maintain and update HRIS for employee data entry, input weekly payroll adjustments, and review attendance in the timekeeping system. Run reports for attendance and hours reporting.

•Communicates and supports HR change decisions. Network to build lasting relationships, i.e. employee/management partnerships; community or professional contacts; foster effective teamwork, etc.

•Coordinate HR Campaigns for the site, such as open enrollment, performance management, annual training campaigns, employee engagement survey, etc.

•Coordinate site cultural change needs when identified (i.e. employee engagement survey results and employee focus groups).

•Coordinate on-site activities to support employee retention. This may include supporting the employee resource groups at the site level, participating in the ADFORS Action Committee, coordinating employee events, and other employee recognition programs.

•Administrative duties may include employee file management, updating employee locker and mail assignments, and other tasks as assigned.

•WCM advocate for the organization. Participates and may lead as required WCM projects and programs for the People Pillar.

•Manage travel booking and expense reporting for the General Manager of ADFORS North America.

• An Associates Degree preferred. In lieu of a degree, 2-3 years of experience in an HR or Administrative function/role supporting leadership in a professional and highly confidential role.

• 2-3+ years of work-related skill and experience and can apply the principles and practices of human resources management including recruitment, benefits, HR technology, employee relations, employee retention, and more.

• Positive strong reputation as neutral and approachable to address employee questions and concerns.

• Prior experience in full cycle recruitment is preferred.

• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

• Extensive proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint is required

• HR systems experience with UKG, PeopleConnect, Applicant Tracking Systems preferred

• Required to have a valid driver’s license for business travel, approximately 5-10% of the time

Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $23.00 - $25.00 per hour. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 5% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $50,232-TTC to $54,600-TTC. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
