WESTWIND COMPUTER PRODUCTS INC A/P A/R Administrative Assistant in Albuquerque, New Mexico

Are you an administrative assistant who has worked with invoicing and record keeping with intermediate to advanced experience with QuickBooks?

Westwind is seeking a positive attitude, upbeat personality, approach every task with enthusiasm and the ability to support our comptroller with relevant and recent skills as an accounting assistant or assistant comptroller. An effective assistant has good knowledge of a/p, a/r, QuickBooks, Excel, Outlook, Teams and CRM. Will be supporting a team of administrative accounting specialists and an a/p a/r manager with research, invoice tracking, invoice submittal, troubleshooting billing issues an other duties not mentioned here.

Duties and Expectations:

  • Ability to demonstrate a positive attitude
  • Ability to approach every task with enthusiasm
  • Support most aspects of the invoice process.
  • Assist in the preparation entry of invoices into federal entitiesportals.
  • Review the company's invoice datato identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances
  • Utilize accounting IT system to facilitate processes and maintain records

EXPERIENCE and REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Proven experience as an administrativeassistant, accounting clerk or other similar position
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (especially excel) and accounting software specifically QuickBooks Enterprise
  • Well-organized with ability to prioritize
  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • AA or BSc/BA in business, accounting, finance or relevant field is preferred
