ASRC Federal NetCentric Technology LLC is seeking a Construction Cost Estimator to support our customer at Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque, NM.

As part of our dynamic team at Kirtland AFB, our Construction Cost Estimator will perform engineering cost estimating services to include study, design, construction, maintenance, repair, landscaping, infrastructure, and facilities services.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Create estimates for planning and budgeting, all estimates for project execution, including costs of studies, designs, design/builds, modifications and construction.

  • Update previously performed cost estimates to account for changes in year of execution, changes to local conditions, weather (based on expected performance period), and any other changes which may have a material impact on the cost of work.

  • Providing ±25% cost estimates and plans for restoration of facilities and utilities during readiness exercises, actual contingencies, or natural disasters including evaluation of hypothetical or actual damage due to hostile threat, major accidents, or natural disasters.

  • Cost estimates for procurement of study, design, and construction services through available contract mechanisms including standalone contracts, IDIQ contracts, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers contracts, and any other execution vehicles.

  • Work closely with Government business teams, collaborating across client organizations with interconnected requirements.

Schedule:

  • On site 7:00-4:00pm, Monday – Friday.

Requirements :

  • Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field -or- commensurate job-related experience.

  • Good communications and analytical skills.

  • Proficient working knowledge of RS Means or similar Construction Cost Estimating software.

  • Must possess strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office products.

  • Must be able to prepare presentations for and brief customer leadership.

  • Must have excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Must possess or be able to obtain/maintain DoD security clearance.

  • Must be able to pass a drug screen.

  • Must be capable of working with customers and employees in a courteous, professional, and effective manner.

  • Must maintain a valid US driver's license.

  • Be committed to providing for and maintaining a safe working environment.
