Operate Processing (Extrusion) Equipment safely, including Mixing & Batching Tank Stations, Transfer Pumps, Evaporator, Extruder, Cooling Tunnels, and Guillotines Set up and disassemble Processing Equipment for start-up and shutdown as needed Monitor and adjust equipment to maintain processing variables according to the production schedule Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement corrective actions Perform basic quality control checks for flavor and color, and record lot numbers and ingredients used Measure and minimize scrap and rework Record equipment downtime and throughout Document processing data using the ERP system Clean and sanitize primary processing equipment as required Transport ingredients and materials throughout the plant manually or with powered equipment
