Job Summary:

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Defines, designs, develops, and implements computer applications and solutions.

  • Conducts surveys to consider user needs and captures marketing research data.

  • Defines and enhances computer applications used, works closely with management to know the plans and goals to make immediate developments on the system.

  • Ensures that the system is secure, and the network is well filtered.

  • Tests and integrates programs. Performs work under minimal supervision.

  • Leads and coordinates efforts to align system capabilities and technical specifications with functional and policy requirements.

  • Applies analytical processes to the planning, configuration, and implementation of electronic information system controls.

  • Collaborates with desktop systems administrators, system security, and other IT stakeholders to support records management and CUI technical and business requirements.

  • Provides customer consultation and advisory services to respond to IT Change Configuration Board inquiries or issues involving software configuration and controls.

  • Works with technical support personnel to provide consultation and instruction on all electronic records management system requirements.

  • Possess experience and skill requirements including knowledge and expert ability to work closely with the Division of Information Systems and other technical experts to configure electronic records management controls for systems, tools, and applications that handle federal information, data, and records.

  • Maintains expert technical skills to perform electronic records management systems audits for compliance with records management statutory and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintains strong analysis, critical thinking, and analytical problem-solving skills. Experienced with project management methodologies.

  • Experience planning and implementing desktop applications, SaaS and other third-party systems and services.

  • Ability to understand record schedules and apply to file plan development.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or 5 or more years related IT experience.

  • Records Managment Certification desirable

  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint desirable

  • Possess or have the ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance
