Applied Research Associates, Inc. Senior Program Manager in Alexandria, Virginia
Description
The Capital Area Division (CAD) of Applied Research Associates (ARA), Inc. is seeking a Senior Program Manager to work across ARA to build teams to capture and lead proposal development, management, and execution of R&D programs. This position will work across CAD and other elements within ARA to support strategy development, growth, and program execution. The right candidate must have experience identifying and capturing programs, to include partner identification and staff recruiting for target programs. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in managing large, multi-performer, multi-million-dollar contracts.
This position requires a candidate with experience leading and performing a variety of tasks to support Government leaders, including:
Leading ARA marketing and opportunity identification for DoD R&D efforts
Performing program management and development of program budgeting, staffing, and execution
Providing specialized functional expertise support in one or more of the following areas, i.e ., in signal intelligence, electronic warfare, space, cyber, IT, and communications
Identification of potential ARA strategic partnering opportunities to support expansion of existing customers and exploitation of new markets/customers.
Identification of staff whom ARA might attract to build new programs and customers
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline
15 years of directly related experience
Top Secret security clearance
Must be a US citizen
Experience supporting US Government clients
Experience coordinating across multiple organizations
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree in a relevant discipline
25+ years of related experience
Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
This position is contingent upon ARA receipt of a contract and associated task funding.
