Job Title: Material Handler Level I
Location: Allendale, NJ
Shift: Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm
Pay: $20-$21.50/hr depending on experience
Job Description
Join our large pharmaceutical production company as a Material Handler, where you will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and inventory control. Your responsibilities will include shipping and receiving, cycle counts, storage, transportation, material handling, inventory control, and replenishments. You will handle tasks such as receiving and unloading incoming materials, verifying shipment accuracy, sorting, counting, labeling inventory, maintaining inventory control, managing hazardous waste inventory, and generating required shipping documents. Your role supports our daily production schedule and contributes to efficient operational workflow.
Hard Skills
ERP system knowledge for inventory tracking
Must have valid Driver's License to drive company van occasionally
Organizing warehouses, and performing cycle counts
Loading and unloading inventory
Lifting up to 50lb boxes
Forklift operating experience
Soft Skills
Accuracy in inventory counts
Effective communication for coordinating shipments
Maintaining updated records
Job Type
This is a long-term position. Medical, Dental, Vision and 401k Benefits are available, as well as holiday pay, PTO, and sick pay.
Work Environment
This is a fully on-site position in Allendale, New Jersey. The position operates from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime starting at 7/7:30 AM. The role requires being on your feet for 8 hours and consistently lifting materials and boxes up to 50lbs. This is a cleanroom, production facility - will need to follow GMPs and SOPs.
