job summary:
Randstad Accounting and Finance is partnering with a client who is in search for a SVP Accounting Controller. This is a great opportunity for someone who has enterprise software experience, CPA, and ASC606 accounting standard implementation experience and expertise.
Our client is looking for a hands-on leader who is able to roll up their sleeves and concentrate on the details to ensure accurate finance information.

responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, close, accounts payable, billing and revenue recognition, general ledger, reconciliations, and special projects as required.
Establish and maintain robust internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure accurate, consistent, and timely reporting, mitigate financial risks, and compliance with US GAAP standards
Contribute to strategic planning initiatives, financial forecasting, and budgeting processes to support business growth and profitability goals.
Participate in corporate development activities including supporting acquisition diligence activities, leading opening balance sheet and valuation audits, accounting integration, and consolidation
Lead special projects and initiatives as assigned by the CFO and executive leadership team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in addressing evolving business needs.
qualifications:
CPA Required
3-5 years of public accounting experience at a top tier firm
15 years of progressive experience in accounting and controllership leadership roles
ASC 606 accounting standard implementation experience and expertise
Relevant industry: enterprise software, payments, professional services
skills: CPA
