Customer Account Specialist

Job Summary: Serve as the point of contact for customers and internal departments to facilitate positive sales and execution to ensure customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities: Responsible for daily customer relations as assigned. Provides direct customer interface as required including ship schedules and status updates with inputs from planning, production, quality and engineering. Support Quality team with source inspection activities. Manage communications and quotes for RMAs. Track and assist with processing RMAs. Participate in contract review on PO change orders as required. Assist in customer service inquiries. Communicate with Account Managers on all customer relation issues. Responsible for all post sales activities and support. Communicate production status and warranties. Assist with all pre-sale and non-sale activities. Assist Sales Team with quoting activities requiring outputs from manufacturing facility (i.e. special costing efforts for parts, materials, special processes and new manufacturing processes). Generate quotes as a backup for all market sectors. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Competencies Required:
3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment. High School Diploma or GED required, Associate or Bachelors degree preferred. Strong analytical skills, and a passion for continuous improvement. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Detail oriented and able to meet deadlines.
