Meaningful Work From Day One

Our small, multi-functional team at Stein manages external production for Brown-Forman products in Western Europe. Leading this team requires a collaborative and flexible approach, building strong relationships within the Brown-Forman global team and our production partners. Initially a 1 year fixed term, the priority of this position is to provide leadership and support to the team.

This is an office/hybrid role and can be based in Stein or Amsterdam.

What You Can Expect

  • Working closely with the Director EMO Western Europe and Americas, act as the primary liaison and manager of the supplier relationship with the region copackers relating to all facets of the supply chain through product shipment. Interface with the region copackers on all issues related to the production of finished goods

  • Provide leadership and vision to the organization by collaborating with staff and partners in the development of short term production plan and long-range strategic planning for the region.

  • Ensure B-F’s risk management requirements are met at Co-packers.

  • Work with the team and our stakeholder to problem solve production and supply issues.

  • Assess processes and drive continuous improvement.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Significant operations experience in supply chain in a consumer goods environment.

  • Excellent collaborator and relationship builder; internal and external.

  • Process and problem solving oriented.

  • Ideally experience of production planning

What Makes You Unique

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage/motivate people and projects; ability to multi-task and work with results focus.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, manufacturing, food science, or business.

  • Excellent planning, financial, root cause analysis / problem solving, and conceptual skills.

  • Has a demonstrated passion to align with the core of values at Brown-Forman.
