St. Mary's Healthcare Manager- Clinical Nutrition in Amsterdam, New York

Job Requisition: REQ2810 Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: Days Hours Per Week: 40 hours

Responsibilities: • Manages budgetary policy/processes. • Orients and trains new employees. Monitors employee productivity and provides direction for increased service and/or productivity. • Solicits customer feedback to ensure satisfaction with quality of food and service. Implements customer suggestions and resolves problems. • Ensures departmental compliance with applicable regulations, internal/external standards, policies and procedures. • Serves as a liaison between clinical staff and medical/hospital staff and between clinical staff and food service staff. Coordinates and participates in nutrition related staff and community events.

Complexity of Work: • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.

Personal Protective Equipment: • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Minimum Qualifications Licensure / Certification / Registration: • Preferred Credential(s): • Dietitian/Nutritionist credentialed from the Commission on Dietetic Registration. • Food Service Professional credentialed from the ServSafe National Restaurant Association.+

Education: • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required. Work Experience: • 2 years of experience required. • 1 year of leadership or management experience required
