Position Overview:
As we continue to grow and expand our digital presence, we are seeking a talented and experienced Full Stack Shopify Developer to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in building, customizing, and maintaining our online stores in a headless environment using Shopify’s Hydrogen framework.
The ideal candidate will be a Shopify expert with a passion for clean and efficient code, comfortable with both front-end responsive design and back-end integrations. You will work closely with designers, marketing, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, user-friendly ecommerce experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement headless e-commerce solutions using Shopify Hydrogen, enabling dynamic and customizable storefronts.
Integrate APIs and manage data flow between front-end and back-end systems to ensure a seamless user experience.
Build responsive front-end interfaces with Tailwind, React and other frameworks, ensuring performance, accessibility, and adherence to brand guidelines.
Develop back-end services, leveraging relevant technologies to support custom functionalities and integrations.
Customize and enhance Shopify’s capabilities beyond traditional setups, focusing on customer and stakeholder needs and business objectives.
Utilize Shopify’s Storefront API to create tailored shopping experiences and integrate third-party applications.
Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and responsiveness, ensuring high-quality performance across devices.
Monitor and troubleshoot site performance issues, implementing fixes as needed.
Work closely with UX/UI designers, marketing teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders to create cohesive e-commerce strategies.
Proactively communicate status updates and actively participate in meetings to provide feedback on development projects and issue resolution.
Participate in agile development processes, providing insights during sprint planning and retrospectives.
Keep up to date with the latest trends in headless commerce, e-commerce technologies, and best practices in web development.
Qualifications:
5+ year’s experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a focus on headless Shopify development.
Proficiency in React and a solid understanding of Shopify Hydrogen and Storefront API.
Strong front-end skills with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with experience in responsive design.
Familiarity with back-end technologies such as Node.js and database management.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Knowledge of other modern frameworks and state management libraries.
