Vestil Manufacturing Custodian in Angola, Indiana
The custodian keeps the plant, offices, break areas and restrooms in a clean and orderly condition. Also helps to maintain the building, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing and other related maintenance activities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or using the Kaivac machine
- Clean break area floors and tables
- Gather and empty trash
- Service, clean and maintain facility
- Make adjustments and minor repairs
- Use and mix water and detergents or cleaners in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment
- Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs and additions to building operating systems
- Maintain cleaning supply rooms, monitor supplies and stock supplies
- Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties
