1st shift-Supervisory experience and computer skills required

Supervisors are the leaders of their department. They are expected to maintain a professional, team oriented, safe and efficient work place. Supervisors work with the Human Resources department to make staffing recommendations, coaching and perform disciplinary action as required. They will work closely with the Plant Manager to produce quality products and complete orders on time. Supervisors are responsible for their department's scheduling, reporting and forecasting.

Personnel Management Responsibilities

• Assist in determining staffing requirements, training, hiring, evaluating, and timekeeping
• Train employees and allocate job assignments using efficient communication methods. Direct and/or delegate tasks as needed
• Promote a team-oriented environment and pride in workmanship
• Set and communicate goals for employees and help them achieve them
• Ensure that work areas are clean and safe by performing good housekeeping practices
• Adhere to, communicate, and promote all company policies and procedures
• Record and maintain accurate data on documents as required. Ensure documentation complies with company standards and is completed in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance of all safety policies and procedures and lead employees with the implementation of safety initiatives

Production Management Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of quality
• Utilize your own skills and experience as well as employee input to develop and implement continuous improvement practices to reduce cost and scrap and increase productivity
• Review operation results to assure objectives are attained in key management areas of safety, housekeeping, quality, on-time delivery and productivity
• Maintain inventory and ensure resources are allocated properly
• Other tasks as required by management or as needed to support business continuity
