Summary
Support Transplant Center (TC) leadership activities and efforts, while exercising discretion, independent judgement, complex problem-solving, reliability and functions with minimal supervision. Contribute and support TC strategic aims and goals.
Responsibilities*
Oversees the day-to-day running of TC administrative offices and support of other transplant locations, including mail, equipment, and supply management which will require on-site activities.
Support Transplant Center Quality and Donation Initiatives program?s committees, workgroups, activities, and efforts. Arrange complex meetings with multiple attendees with challenging schedules both virtually and in-person.
Assist with calendar management, meeting schedules, agendas, recordings, and distribution of associated minutes.
Provide primary point of contact to intake, process, and manage all Gift of Life Michigan vendor account requests according to approved processes and practices. Coordinate completion of all Michigan Medicine elements, such as initial screening, submission of account requests, required training, tracking of annual competencies, and termination of appropriate accounts, as instructed, or requested.
Support and manage TC leader?s educational activities, travel arrangements, and p-card reconciliation.
Aid with the development and execution of strategic plans, special events, and other assignments.
Support payroll completion and processing activities, as assigned.
Required Qualifications*
Able to problem-solve and make decisions with minimal or no immediate supervision.
Proficient at working both independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity of continuous quality improvement and assurance methods or processes.
Adept in verbal and written communication.
Excellent telephone and customer service skills.
Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills, reliability, and attendance.
Senior:
Bachelor?s degree, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
Minimum of 4-years of experience in administrative support role, or equivalent.
Intermediate:
- Minimum of 2-years of experience in administrative support role, or equivalent.

Work Schedule
Monday-Friday; 8am-5pm (flexible)

Background Screening
