Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Aerotek, voted Best of Staffing, is looking for experienced assemblers on a manufacturing facility. This is a long term opportunity (6 Month Temp to Hire). Assemblers starting pay range from $20.00/hour (paid weekly), a max of $22.00/hour. Client pays very generously with competitive pay rate in the market, with overtime opportunity. Client location is in Ramsey, MN.
Pay & Shift:
1st Shift: 5am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday; OT on Friday - $20/HR
2nd Shift: 3:30pm-2am Monday-Thursday; OT on Friday - $22/HR
Description:
This company builds/manufactures workout/gym equipment including ellipticals, weight racks, tension weight machines (like a BowFlex) and many others. Employees are responsible for performing a wide variety of tasks required to assemble, prep sub-assemblies, and move completed units. There are 32 different machines they are responsible for assembling.
Assembly Duties:
Complete assembly of various models of exercise machines using hand and power tools
There are lifts and cranes so it is very ergonomic no awkward bending or kneeling
Verify completed machines meet quality standards and initial paperwork.
Use a manual and electric pallet jack.
Shipping Duties:
Accurately and efficiently pull, stage, and load orders; padding, wrapping, bolting and strapping as necessary.
Ensure all products are shipped in good physical condition and are prepared so as to arrive in the same condition.
Work with Supervisor to organize the warehouse and maintain a safe and productive environment
Note: This is an entry-level position, and on-the-job training will be provided. We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn and grow in the assembly industry.
