Accountabilities

  • Coordinate a diverse portfolio of projects encompassing water system analyses, master planning, design, project management, and construction oversight

  • Contribute to key decision-making processes regarding design and construction strategies

  • Assist in the preparation of various written materials, including letters, reports, and project specifications, showcasing professional expertise and attention to detail

  • Support strategic initiatives by assisting in the preparation of Company rate case materials, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements

  • Foster strong relationships with customers and developers, actively engaging with stakeholders to understand their needs and drive continuous improvements in water system functionality and efficiency

  • Utilize advanced technical skills to create and maintain facility system maps and management systems, enabling streamlined operations and effective resource allocation

  • Ensure project success by collecting and processing as-built documentation for construction projects, adhering to rigorous quality standards and regulatory compliance

  • Facilitate seamless project execution by managing permit acquisition, materials procurement, construction observation services, and meticulous record-keeping, ensuring projects stay on track and within budget

  • Drive procurement efficiency by collaborating with Procurement teams to analyze, estimate, and approve materials that meet exact specifications, optimizing resource utilization and project outcomes

  • Employ strong attention to detail to update comprehensive lists of project materials required for orders in SAP prior to construction, ensuring accurate and timely project execution

  • Perform other responsibilities as requested by leadership

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent

  • Technical experience in the Water or Wastewater industry

  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate or Professional Engineer (PE) certification highly desired

  • Strong proficiency in software applications such as Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and/or ArcGIS

  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders

  • Analytical mindset, organizational skills, and attention to detail

  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Compensation

$63,917 - $157,507 per year

*Liberty considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education, training and skills, and geographic location. Base pay for this role is expected to fall within the min to mid-point.
