JOB REQUIREMENTS: Professional Services Group and Community Impact Programs is now hiring for the Assistant Supervisor role to join our Outagamie Family Support Program! PSG/CIP is a community-based social services organization committed to developing innovative services to strengthen the families and communities we work with. The Assistant Supervisor assists in the supervision of workers in the Family Support Program in Outagamie County. This program works with families referred from the Outagamie County Department of Health and Human Services to maintain safety in homes where children are at-risk for removal and/or who are in the process of reunification. Family Support programming addresses a wide range of concerns including safety, enhancing the parent-child relationship, parenting, household management, nutrition, safe and stable housing, service acquisition, education, employment, medical, mental health, and substance abuse issues. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ASSISTANT SUPERVISOR: Assist in managing In-Home Safety Services (IHSS) case assignments and service provision. Manage and review safety checks to ensure IHSS staff complete all required safety checks. Assist in the hiring, training, supervising, evaluating and disciplining of program staff. Fulfill identified supervisory duties in the absence of supervisor. Ensure notes are entered within 24 hours and assess quality of notes through regular reviews. Act as a resource to evaluate and determine necessary responses in de-escalating crisis situations with youth and families. Conduct face-to-face contact with families, per program standards, to ensure safety and cooperation with safety plan. Safely transport clients as needed. LOCATION: Appleton, WI. Local travel may be required to meet with clients within the home or other community spaces. SALARY: \$23.00-24.00 per hour REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a valid Driver\'s License, personal automobile insurance, and reliable transportation on a daily basis. Must have a Bachelor\'s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or related. One year of previous experience working with at-risk youth and families is required.
