Associate Change/Routing Analyst R30155

Evaluate engineering changes for impact on the Master Plan and make decisions as to the effect on material in areas such as stock on hand, open purchase orders, and in process operations. Review demands, scrap, and future requirements.

YOUR IMPACT:

  • Provide feedback and suggest alternatives to the master scheduler when ECN's cause some type of rescheduling action.

  • Make decisions on vendor supplied material (directs suppliers to cancel, reschedule, place orders, etc.)

  • Make decisions on ECN from a materials stand point using MRP and related data.

  • Make rework decisions in order to minimize scrap and obsolete inventories.

  • Responsible for the communication of relevant data concerning ECN’s through Supply and Demand reports

  • Act as a liaison between Engineering, Operations, Purchasing, Materials, Customer Service, Finance, and Quality as needed.

  • Coordinate with design engineering to ensure that our products are designed for manufacturability.

  • Participate with engineering groups for new projects or major changes to support and guide for a smooth transition into production.

  • Responsible for data gathered as special projects arise and the analysis of such data is required.

  • CN Population and CN Validation to ensure BOM’s, Branch Plant Data are accurate per the change, along with Obsoleting of parts.

  • Work with the Domino structuring team when changes are driven by Sales option.

  • Monitor new part set up, Stocking type, UOM, G/L Class, Planner, Buyer, and planning parameters.

  • Maintain Stocking Type changes, UOM changes and Get Relationship along with G/L Class, Planner,

  • Buyer and planning parameters with changes.

  • Create new indirect parts from request from Manufacturing.

  • Provide support with any MRP issues, Shortage issues with Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Engineering thru problem analysis, identifying root causes, outlining resolution options and taking appropriate action to resolve problems.

  • Provide backup for Routing Analyst functions.

  • Provide support for PCO’s for Engineering and Shop Floor Planners.

  • Create new numbers for Outside Process Steps.

  • Provide assistance to Engineering on CN’s.

  • Create Branch Plants Work with Purchasing on outsourcing or insourcing of parts.

  • Work with ME’s on Jig’s and Fixtures requiring changes do to Change.

  • Review any NMNA issues and make necessary corrections.

  • Provide reports within PDM control to other groups.

  • Establish part, assembly, and job routings on all items that are requested.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering Technology, or related field or equivalent work experience

  • 3-plus years related experience

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficient use of JDE ERP business systems and Swift View

  • Knowledge of the MRP systems

  • Knowledge of BOM and Routing structures
