TEKsystems Patient Services Representative (FLOAT) in Appleton, Wisconsin
Description:
Looking to add a full-time PATIENT SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE who will be cross-trained to handle Phone Room, Patient Registration, and Front Desk, filling in wherever needed. Phone Room: • Provide excellent customer service to patients and coworkers. • Operates multi-line telephone to connect interoffice and house calls. • Register patients and schedule appointments. • Retrieve insurance information. • Other duties as assigned. Front Desk: • Opening up clinic tasks for first patient arrival. • Greeting patients as they walk in. • Check-in duties (collect copays, scan insurance cards, print encounter forms, update registration as needed). • Schedule appointments. • Maintain tidy reception/waiting areas. • Other duties as assigned to maintain a cohesive, friendly, welcoming environment for our patients and guests. Patient Registration: • Meet and assist patients with completing registration forms. • Call patients as needed to obtain needed information for appointments. • Verify patient record is up to date and accurate; make appropriate updates as needed.
