Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM Building: Myers Road, Brush Creek, Barre Road Pay Band: $44,500 - $59,250/year Leader Name: Doug Klausing Application Deadline Date: July 8, 2024 The Maintenance Planner plans, schedules and coordinates corrective and preventative maintenance activities. This role will support Myers Road, Brush Creek, and Barre Road plants. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Models prevention over reaction, professionalism, an openness to learning, humility, collaboration, and respect for people.
  • Supports the successful implementation and ongoing support of the TPM process by participating in autonomous maintenance events and the utilization of yellow and blue tags.
  • Reviews work requests on a daily basis. Investigate job scope, convert the requests into work orders, assign priority, and distribute the work orders to the managers by lead person.
  • Utilizes the CMMS for the following: create, maintain, and close work-orders and timecards; research and/or order parts; document work-order status and/or other pertinent information.
  • Leads work order prioritization meeting with aligned focused factory support team (meeting frequency varies by focused factory requirements).
  • Develops a weekly schedule for technicians before the start of the work week in coordination with the maintenance lead.
  • Negotiates planned downtime for TPM activities, PM and maintenance work including down time for other support groups such as engineering and installation.
  • Orders and kits parts for planned work.
  • Prepares job estimates for some major repairs or modifications.
  • Creates PMs for new equipment and changes and updates (create standing PM work orders as needed).
  • Assists maintenance and others in the location of parts. Make sure that the parts are in the parts books and the part files are updated with the correct numbers, so they are easier to locate.
  • Starts new parts work orders on parts that are not available from manufacturer and on parts that can be made in house at a significant cost savings.
  • Creates and updates standards, processes, procedures, and other documents for maintenance activities such as rebuilds, roller changes, troubleshooting and safely removing glue pots, etc.
  • Monitors purchase orders and work orders for anything overdue or outstanding.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school education.
  • Associate degree in Electrical/Mechanical a plus.
  • Advanced PC and keyboarding skills required.
  • Knowledge of preparing spread sheets and reports.
  • Two years of experience in maintenance.
  • Good communication and people skills.
  • Self-motivated and positive attitude.
