Boston Scientific Leadership Communications Manager, Electrophysiology in Arden Hills, Minnesota

About the role: Boston Scientific is recruiting for an accomplished and passionate communicator to make meaningful contributions within the company's Electrophysiology business by engaging key stakeholders in the Boston Scientific mission to transform lives through innovative medical solutions that improve the health of patients around the world. This candidate must demonstrate a passion for communications and storytelling, as well as a functional understanding of working within a regulated industry and across multiple channels to reach stakeholder audiences. The position reports into the Corporate Communications team and will work closely with the executive management within the company's Electrophysiology business to amplify their leadership strategy, business priorities and core values - with employee communications as a key area of focus. As the Electrophysiology team is largely based in Arden Hills, Minnesota, we prefer candidates who can commit to working from the Arden Hills office a minimum of 3 days per week. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement an integrated leadership communication strategy, framework and editorial plan that informs, inspires and engages employees and drives alignment to business strategies and priorities. Serve as counselor and thought partner to senior leadership on messaging, communications strategies, tactics and approach. Create written communications, presentations, videos and talking points for internal audiences, as well as key external-facing leadership communications including presentations, thought leadership content and social media posts. Partner with senior leadership and HR business partners on organizational change communications and other business-critical change management efforts. Identify gaps in organizational communication and implement solutions to help drive cross-functional collaboration and the achievement of top business priorities. Build strong internal relationships and foster collaboration among business partners and the Corporate Communications team. Provide project management and tactical support to ensure the timely completion of high-quality deliverables. Partner with Corporate Communications team members to identify divisional stories to elevate as part of a corporate narrative reaching global employees and the general public. Ensure a consistent and coherent voice in all communications that aligns with Boston Scientific corporate positioning and messaging. Coordinate cross-functional review and approval of content with company executives, marketing, clinical, legal, regulatory leaders and other key stakeholders. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, English or equivalent. A minimum of 7 years of employee engagement or leadership communications within a corporate or agency environment. Experience within the life sciences and medical device industry is preferred. Broad experience developing and executing strategic communications across internal and external channels focused on corporate brand reputation, business strategy, priorities, employee engagement and thought leadership. Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills. Proven ability to provide strategic counsel at all levels of the organization. Strong attention to detail and dedication to producing quality work on deadline. Demonstrated business acumen and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize and trans ate complex ideas into a digestible format. Adept at working in a team environment while also displaying independence, initiative and enterprise; ability to maintain high productivity while balancing competing priorities. Excellent project management, organizational, planning and time management skills. Solutions-oriented, with a willingness to bring new ideas and try new approaches. Ability to collaborate with teams virtually across multiple locations and time zones. Strong interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence; adept at consensus-building and incorporating differing viewpoints into recommendations.
