The Inflight Services department includes flight attendants and the teams that support them.
Job overview and responsibilities
The Inflight Crew Scheduling department includes Crew Schedulers and the flight attendants we operationally schedule. Providing contractual compliance and efficient procedures for Crew Scheduling.
Provides daily communications assisting Crew Schedulers as SME for contractual rules
Develop and coordinate new policy deployments, in order tomaintain consistency and quality within Inflight Crew Scheduling Maintain contractual interpretations and review that scheduling practices are administered consistently and cost-effectively
Direct involvement for Crew Scheduling JCBA grievance compliance working closely with AFA council representatives
Complete and deliver reports and requests from union representatives, base leadership, and payroll employees.
Functions as a liaison fostering open communication and modeling teamwork through cross-functional working relationships
Develop structured content and ensure quality delivery of training programs
Coordinate updates for policies and procedures in the Business Manual, Service Now, and other platforms
Assist the Manager of Process Quality and Training with internal and external audits
Provide occasional operational support, as needed
Assist with training needs including On-the-job-training with crew schedulers in a 24/7 environment
Qualifications
Required
High School diploma
Inflight Crew Scheduling JCBA scheduling
Work experience in airline operation including knowledge of FARs, crew collective bargaining agreements, policies & procedures
Process implementation and training for front line employees
Computer skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Adaptability to changing business environment
Ability to identify opportunities, motivate and drive consistency
Build and maintain positive relationships with front line employees and stakeholders
Read and write in English
Ability to travel (Domestic and International)
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
Preferred
B.A.
3– 5 years operational management
3-5 yrs. Scheduling Ops Experience
Microsoft Office experience
Good presentation skills
Ability to interact with all levels of management
Experience in training delivery tools (Storyline, etc.)
