The Department of Theatre Arts and Dance in the College Liberal Arts, at the University of Texas at Arlington, invites applications for a Rank Assistant Professor of Practice and#x2013; Musical Theatre, Academic Professional Track (formerly NTT)..Teach voice lessons to musical theatre students; participate in student laboratory activities and theatre productions as collaborative pianist and vocal coach.Teach other courses in musical theatre as assigned.Reports to the Chair of Theatre Arts and Dance..Experience teaching musical theatre voice lessons.Experience as a musical director.Graduate degree in music, or equivalent professional credentials.Knowledge of contemporary musical theatre vocal pedagogies..One or more certifications in a voice, movement, or other theatre pedagogy area.Experience teaching music theory for musical theatre performers.
