eCommerce is booming - more consumers are choosing eRetail to do their weekly grocery shopping or to learn more about a Nestlé product. Join our team on a mission to up-level our digital shelf presence on eRetail.

The Digital Shelf Content Marketing Manager will partners with Brand, Omnichannel, Design and agencies to implement digital shelf strategy and best practices that put our products at the top of retailers recommendations and in consumers carts. This role works across Nestle USA’s iconic food and beverage brands like Gerber, Stouffer’s, Coffee-mate and DiGiorno to develop up-to-date-accurate, add-to-cart-appetizing images and copy that showcase our products.

As a Digital Shelf Content Marketing Manager you will lead eB2C and eB2B content best practices for the organization, build and manage the off-shore creative content team, support the Infant Nutrition brands by leading all product content production – working with Brand teams to plan for new and updating products, develop optimized images and copy with agencies, get timely asset approval from Legal, Regulatory and Brand, and assure that the assets are passed on to the Digital Shelf Syndication Specialists for go-live.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead Best in Class Content Best Practices and Activation for the Digital Shelf

  • Develop eContent best practices for eB2B for distributors and 3rd party portals.

  • Runs Test and Learn pilots and shares ROI/post-campaign metrics with key stakeholders. Applies learnings to future campaigns to drive spend efficiencies and Share of Search improvements

  • Applies quarterly digital shelf learnings to categories, collaborating with Omnichannel and Brands to propose, approve and implement actions and next steps in a timely manner

Build and Lead off-shore internal content support team

  • Build organizational structure for off-shore team to support both retailer partner 24hr turn arounds and execute against ongoing creative execution.

  • Manage on-going team to ensure deadlines and creative execution expectations are being met and support overarching strategy built by AOR.

Production Management

  • Work closely with agencies and internal teams to develop the right content by brand and retailer for new and existing items to meet best practice guidelines

  • Identify areas to improve and oversee look book and play book updates and their application to the portfolio manner. Communicate to agencies to schedule resources.

Asset Approval and Handoff

  • Monitor and improve process for asset approval and handoff to Syndication specialist.

Education

  • Support Sr. manager/team in onboarding of new hires and building education decks and process mapping for ways of working across a matrixed organization.

  • Other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE & MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Experience in collaborating with CPG brands and agencies to gain a deep understanding of their brand needs and effectively represent their products on digital platforms.

  • Proven experience influencing stakeholders to deploy newest best practices in ecommerce.

  • Proven experience building eB2B content best practices preferably with Consumer Package Goods.

  • Minimum 5-7 years’ experience partnering with agencies or retail partners, experience building and leading offshore teams.

  • Experience in managing projects/timelines/creative assets and driving teams to action to meet deadlines.

  • Experience with project management
