Siemens Government Technologies (SGT) is a dynamic and rapidly changing organization, and we are seeking a self-driven individual to complement our growing team.

SGT Infrastructure & Energy Solutions is looking for an Energy and Systems Engineer to consult our customer in the Northern Virgina area on requirements and implementation to expand and manage their facility and to perform maintenance and service.

You will be responsible for the strategic business objectives contributing to the goals of SGT organization.

Responsibilities

•Aid in building out new warehouse facility.

•Provide advice to customer on requirements and implementation of systems - electrical distribution systems, microgrid, battery energy storage, PV, building automation and fire systems.

•Interact with US Government Program Managers and Key Stakeholders to move projects forward.

•Collaborate with subcontractors and contractors onsite at the facility.

•Work closely with SGT Program Managers, Contracts and Legal staff to ensure contract compliance and on-time project acceptance.

•Work closely with SGT and Subcontractor and Contractor Engineering teams to solve technical issues.

•Develop and execute project goals, which include metrics associated with slip against schedule and budget, risk management, labor utilization, customer and employee satisfaction and management of quality plans.

•Drive results in these areas to meet the business goals.

•Provide monthly updates to SGT management on work performed, plans, budget, and overall project status.

•Show a strategic mindset to integrate services organization with solutions organization to allow for seamless post-installation delivery of managed services.

•Review and identify critical path and manage project dependencies for existing projects including implementation, timelines, issues, risks, and successes.

•Liaise with customers and external / internal project stakeholders on a continual basis.

•Build strategic and relationships with the customer and be seen as trusted advisor.

Required Qualifications

•Degree in Engineering or Electrical with 10 years of experience or lieu of degree 15 years of experience in electrical distribution systems, microgrid, battery energy storage, PV, building automation and fire systems.

•Experience with US Federal Government projects, contracts, policies, and procedures.

•Experience in managing maintenance and servicing of classified facilities.

•Experience in real property management.

•Experience collaborating with contractors and subcontractors.

•Excellent written and verbal communications with the ability to present complex issues to multi-level audiences of company and government executives.

•Ability to effectively communicate progress, status, and issues to internal and external customers.

•Ability to obtain and meet Business goals and results.

•Must be focused on directing others in accountability, collaboration, effective communication, and have a strategic mindset that develops talent. All of these talents which ultimately drive results.

Security Clearance

•Must have active TS/SCI Security Clearance prior to being hired

•Candidate must be US citizen and have the ability to obtain a US federal agency security clearance
