A leading non-profit organization dedicated to improving health outcomes and providing vital healthcare services to underserved communities whose mission is to ensure equitable access to high-quality healthcare for all is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Analyst to join their dynamic team in Washington, DC
The Financial Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis within the healthcare sector and be proficient in Workday Adaptive Planning. This position requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to support the mission-driven initiatives.
Contract Duration: 6 month contract to hire
This is a hybrid role in Washington DC, you will be required onsite twice a week. Local candidates are encouraged to apply.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis
Proficiency in Workday Adaptive Planning is required.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience with financial reporting and ERP systems is a plus.
Knowledge of non-profit accounting standards and regulations is preferred.
Experience working within the healthcare sector.
