The Global Culinary Kitchen division is eager to welcome a critical Retail Merchandising Display Specialist role on the Retail Display marketing team. This role will own and optimize retail display management and execution to drive growth and deliver a flawless experience for the shopper, the customer, and Nestlé. You will bring high-impact display programs to life, lead cross functional teams with excellence to capture new opportunities and optimize existing displays and processes. This role will create and commercialize mono-brand and multi-brand displays that meet our consumers’ needs and are rooted in market trends. This role is a critical driver of division success and transformation. The Retail Merchandising Display Specialist should consistently demonstrate a passion for our brands and finding consumer and customer solutions, foster a collaborative, team-oriented work environment, and is agile in an environment of constant change.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Leverage understanding of best-in-class retail display and merchandising to ensure powerful design and execution of in-market displays across the Global Culinary Kitchen portfolio of brands and products (Nestlé Toll House morsels, Carnation milks, La Lechera, and Libby’s pumpkin)

  • Lead cross functional team through short and long term planning, project management, and commercialization of displays

  • Lead relationship with strategic vendor partner(s) that design, create, build, and deploy merchandising displays

  • Establish best practices and develop innovative strategies to make execution seamless

  • Lead business optimization and analysis of programs’ in market performance

  • Partner with commercial development team to identify customer specific display merchandising solutions

  • Monitor and optimize business performance against shipment, consumption, financials, and waste targets

  • Liaise daily with customer development and sales partners to deeply understand customer forecasts, retail risk and opportunities, and manage timelines toward forecast lock dates

  • Collaborate regularly with supply chain to ensure efficient and effective production plans and own waste mitigation management

  • Optimize product assortment on displays to effectively manage simultaneous sell down of items

  • Develop and implement on-brand, on strategy display graphics and fixture designs to efficiently and effectively attract shopper attention and engagement

  • Proactively identify and propose innovative solutions to resolve challenges that impact project schedule, cost or display design integrity

  • Prepare presentation materials and deliver compelling presentations to partners/leadership

  • Provide divisional expertise on display features, capabilities, design, and implementation

  • Communicate timely and effectively with Marketing Strategy Manager and Marketing Director regarding critical and relevant matters related to project work, timeliness, target impactors

  • Basic knowledge of corrugate and/or display builds is preferred

  • Some travel to provide on-site design support, become familiar with display build details, and evaluate end result

Summary of Experience

  • Progressive experience in Merchandising Display design, development, and execution 4-6 years

  • Project management experience in a cross-functional environment 3-5 years

  • Forecasting experience 3-4 years

  • Experience in a seasonal business a plus

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 4-6+ years’ experience in retail merchandising display design/execution demonstrating strong industry knowledge and expertise

  • Experience in technical packaging or display design a plus

  • Highly effective project management skills

  • Strong written and verbal skills

  • Critical attention to detail

  • Proactive and solution oriented

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
