In this position you will be responsible for creating new business insights and developing strategies that will enable the World Wide Public Sector Org sales organization to continue to evolve and grow. As a key member of the Strategic Planning team, you will analyze various areas of the business, leading recommendations for senior leadership and track progress through implementation.

Key job responsibilities

In this role you will:

• Serve as liaison between Sales, Operations, and Planning teams to identify focus areas, improve visibility into sales pipeline, and drive actions plan

• Establish timelines, project plans, and expectations across various stakeholders

• Manage deliverables for leadership reviews, annual planning, and regular performance updates

• Automate and streamline reporting and performance updates through regular cadence of communications and / or interlocks with business and goal owners

• Communicate in written and verbal form to senior leadership and also technical counterparts

• Lead analytical projects focused on deep insights that enable goal and performance management decisions

• Capture and structure data to meet reporting needs across the entire organization

• Be the “source of truth” for each team’s performance and progress tracking

About Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data

• 5+ years of Microsoft Excel experience

• Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software

• Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a high-growth, technology company

• Experience with data visualization software (e.g., AWS QuickSight or Tableau) or open-source project
