IBM Corporation Software Release Manager in ARMONK, New York
Software Release Manager, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites through the US (Up to 60% telecommuting permitted): Provide functional direction to a team of software engineers and personnel management to drive employee career growth and skill improvements. Work closely with them to ensure they have what they need for increased development productivity, remove impediments, and enable them to meet commitments for product deliverables. Provide technical leadership and guidance. Work across functional teams to drive high quality deliverables using project management skills for creating milestones and risks analysis. Build, grow, lead, and mentor the team in their professional development. Work within a continuous integration and continuous delivery development model. Engage with the team in a daily collaborative style using Agile methodology. Work closely with the executive teams and other cross product development managers. Utilize: Object-oriented programming, Cloud computing, Kubernetes & Docker for containerization, CI/CD automation, System architectures, Agile software development methodology, Project management for backend cloud service deliverables. Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related and two (2) years of experience as a Software Engineer or related. Two (2) years of experience must include utilizing Object-oriented programming, Cloud computing, Kubernetes & Docker for containerization, CI/CD automation, System architectures, Agile software development methodology, Project management for backend cloud service deliverables. $162,078.72 to $235,000.00 per year.
