The basic purpose of this role is to perform any process/support duties associated with the automated filling of BI Animal Health vaccines. The Line Leader III, Packaging works within the filling department as a team member to ensure success in the activities associated with the safe and sterile preparation of vaccines.
Duties & Responsibilities
Follows cGMP guidelines and departmental procedures.
Ensures all associated documentation is executed and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Ensures all equipment and facilities are maintained.
Completes daily documentation.
Performs daily inventory transactions; Ensures raw materials are available and inventory accuracy is maintained.
Tracks performance through Key Process Indicators.
Operates and maintains all equipment associated with department.
Maintains and works in a clean room work environment.
Participates in the training and qualification of team members.
Initiates/facilitates root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions to address problems.
Assumes supervisor role as needed.
Demonstrates a visible & tangible commitment to HSE, Lean Principles, and the BI Animal Health Values in all work-related activities.
In addition to the above, performs other assigned duties & projects deemed appropriate within the position scope.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent plus three (3) years’ experience in related field required.
B.S. Biology or related field plus five (5) years’ experience in related field preferred.
Bio Manufacturing or GMP regulated experience preferred.
Basic computer skills - Excel, Word.
Demonstrated team player.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Basic math skills.
Basic mechanical skills and experience operating automated equipment.
Demonstrated aseptic techniques.
Ability to follow detailed SOP's and record accurate data in real time.
Obtains and retains certification in aseptic techniques as required.
Eligibility Requirements :
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).
Must be 18 years of age or older.
