Title: Accounting Manager, Global Consolidations

Location: Atlanta, GA

Position Summary

The Manager of Global Consolidations serves a pivotal role in the monthly close cycle to ensure a successful and accurate closing of the books for both internal and external financial statements. The manager coordinates with regional teams around the world to help solve any issues in reporting and intercompany balances, reviews global allocations and correcting entries, and analyzes consolidated results.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Coordinate and execute the global close to ensure an on-time and accurate completion of the monthly internal and external financials

  • Assist with the preparation of the monthly internal management reporting package for the CFO and other finance leadership team members

  • Review and approve recurring and adjusting journal entries

  • Review and approve balance sheet reconciliations

  • Coordinate with regional teams to solve accounting issues and classification questions

  • Assist with the ownership of the company’s chart of accounts hierarchy and mapping to the external financials

  • Prepare the cash flow statement for the company’s 10-Q and 10-K filings

  • Manage and review the global balance sheet fluctuation review process

  • Serve as a point of contact for global results questions from FP&A teams

  • Review and prepare SOX internal controls self-testing and documentation

  • Assist external and internal auditors with audit inquiries and testing

  • Prepare ad-hoc requests and participate in other projects as needed

    Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

  • Active CPA license

  • 5+ years of related corporate accounting experience in a large multinational company or a combination of prior public accounting and multinational corporate accounting experience

  • Experience in US GAAP accounting and reporting

  • Microsoft Excel advanced user

  • Ability to use a variety of software programs and tools to analyze and work with large data sets and accomplish tasks efficiently

  • Strong analytical skills, ability to research issues in a complex accounting structure to resolve problems; detail-oriented, yet able to identify issues and grasp concepts at broader level

  • Must be a highly motivated individual with the ability to multi-task while working with a variety of individuals in both team and self-directed environments

  • Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbal, with all levels of management

  • Ability to work within defined time constraints and within deadlines during month end financial close while driving longer-term projects to successful completion

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with international consolidations accounting in a public company

  • Interaction/presentations with senior management

  • Experience with Oracle Cloud and Smartview query tools
