DUTIES: Provide water resources related engineering analysis and design, as well as assistance in the data collection and analysis, field programs and report writing. Perform hydrologic and hydraulic studies in support of FEMA flood insurance studies and other water resources projects. Propose approach to solve new problems encountered. Identify discrepancies in analysis results and propose solutions. Provide Quality Assurance and Quality Control for project deliverables. Communicate with clients and other team members on project deliverables. Deliver technical or project-related presentation in the conference. Provide guidance documentation on new working procedure. Provide guidance and training to entry-level engineers.
Minimum requirements for entry into the position: Employer will accept a Masters degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a civil engineering-related occupation.
Position requires:
1.HEC-RAS: 1D and 2D steady and unsteady modeling;
2.HEC-HMS;
3.Peak FQ;
4.Regression Equation Analysis;
5.Gage Analysis
6.Python; and
7.Pluvial or fluvial modeling using 2D modeling
8.ArcGIS.
