You also need to be detail-oriented and willing to go the extra mile to get the job done right the first time. We are searching for somebody who will help our attorneys and clients make it through family law issues, such as divorces, child custody, adoptions, and more. salary: $50,000 - $70,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

education: Associate

Responsibilities

  • Calendaring deadlines and tasks and making sure deadlines are met and tasks are completed on time.

  • Drafting pleadings, including Petitions, Motions, DRFAs, Child Support Worksheets, etc.

  • Performing legal research.

  • Preparing the client And the file for mediation, hearings, and trials.

  • Preparing trial notebooks.

  • Drafting Final Orders.

  • Preparing and Responding to Discovery.

  • Electronic filing using Odyssey, PeachCourt, etc.

  • Scheduling Zoom, WebEx, and other virtual meetings and hearings.

Skills

  • Family Law (5 years of experience is required)

  • Paralegal Certificate

  • Litigation (5 years of experience is required)

  • Research

  • Electronic filing

  • Years of experience: 5 years

  • Experience level: Experienced
