Basic Job Function: The Senior Finance Manager – Working Capital will assist in the forecasting, long-term planning and business operations for cash management at Artera, a $2.5B+ (revenue) domestic construction company comprised of multiple business entities employing nearly 10,000 workers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of financial reporting structure for Artera Services cash flow, inclusive of report design, establishing operating rhythm and defining system requirements.

  • Ownership over cash flow monthly financial closing requirements for Artera Services, inclusive of consolidation of results.

  • Lead in developing and implementing a forecasting model for cash flow at Artera Services and the operating company levels.

  • Lead with cash management initiatives to generate free cash flow conversion, partnering across organization and functions.

  • Financial responsibility for Corporate P&L (budget and actuals) working directly with department leaders (CEO staff).

  • Prepare management presentations including Monthly Operating Reviews, Investor presentations, and Board of Director updates.

  • Maintain an ongoing communication system which provides business updates, transparency and topical information to business leaders.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years successful financial experience and leadership roles in progressively larger and more complex business environments, particularly large field service populations.

  • Demonstrated competencies in financial analysis and strategic financial business planning.

  • Ability to effectively work with, influence and present to a broad population of individuals ranging from operational leaders to Board of Directors.

  • Mature influencing skills working in conjunction with functional peers and operational leaders. Ability to express opinions in order to consider alternative views.

  • Comfortable managing multiple issues simultaneously across a variety of cultures and populations, balancing overall Artera Services’ corporate initiatives with individual business’ histories and processes.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience within construction industry and/or field service organizations.

  • Previous financial planning and analysis experience in an industrial environment.

  • Previous experience working with Board of Directors.

Education Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in financial field

  • MBA a plus
