IHG Senior Manager, Procurement FF&E Project Services in Atlanta, Georgia

This role is responsible for developing and executing a strategy for the furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) purchasing services’ offering for hotels. This includes collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to accelerate and simplify the purchasing, logistics, freight, and installation services for FF&E projects across the AMER region. Much of the role will be working with a Field Services team and third-party purchasing agents to enhance and grow the offering through targeted marketing and communications along with a continuous improvement mindset to keep driving the program forward.

Your day to day

  • Create and execute the furniture, fixtures, & equipment (FF&E) Hotel Purchasing Services (HPS) strategy in line with the Americas Hotel Procurement overall objectives

  • Lead team responsible for delivering FF&E HPS projects with 3 rd party service partners for timely completion and within the approved budget

  • Integrate the logistics program into the HPS service offering

  • Collaborate with team members on supplier management responsibilities for the approved purchasing agents, including performance management (KPIs, SLAs, etc.), relationship management, and risk management

  • Establish, track and report on key performance indicators for monitoring the performance of 3 rd party service partners

  • Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends, cost drivers, and opportunities for cost reduction

  • Create marketing strategies to effectively educate, influence and communicate with Owners and internal stakeholders about the value of hotel purchasing services

  • Serve as the single point of contact for hotel procurement issue mitigation and being instrumental in fostering and growing relationships with Owners, internal stakeholders, all hotel suppliers, and internal Procurement teams

  • Key business partner to Hotel Lifecycle & Growth (HLG) Openings & Renovations teams

What we need from you

  • Ability to lead a team in a performance-driven culture

  • Demonstrated history of success and strong experience in project management and reporting outcomes

  • Ability to analyze, interpret and extract trends from data and analysis

  • Experience with Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks

  • Create and deliver presentations with impact

  • Collaborative and partnership driven

  • Ability to manage risks and meet critical deadlines

  • Demonstration of intellectual curiosity to drive continuous learning

Location – Our hybrid work structure is an expectation of three (3) days a week in the Atlanta office. This expectation may be adjusted to evolve with the changing needs of the business.

Travel - 25-50% required

The salary range for this role is $58,844 to $145,000. This role is also eligible for bonus pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medial/dental/vision insurance, 401K, and other benefits to employees.
