Job Title: Electronics Technician

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Electronics Technician for a shift opening from 3:00pm-11:15pm Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays. This is a 6-month temporary position ending in January 2025, with potential for extension based on project needs. The role involves working on the production floor, moving between various work cells that support different client lines including Medical, Automotive, and Industrial equipment builds. Technicians will start with bench work, diagnosing and repairing circuit boards at the component level and advancing to the system level. Responsibilities include performing electrical diagnostic work across different cells, using instruments like oscilloscopes and volt-meters, and logging any faulty products. Serious issues will be escalated to the engineering team. Flexibility to learn and work on different product lines as needed is crucial.

This is a fully on-site position in Auburn Hills, Michigan.

Work Environment

The work environment is a 'clean room' style production setting. All floor workers must wear special shoe inserts to eliminate static charge to protect the equipment. The production floor houses over 50 workers, with designated walkways and restricted areas clearly labeled.
