NORTHEAST INTERNAL MEDICINE ASSC PC Hospitalist (Multiple openings) in Auburn, Indiana
Job Duties:
Provide inpatient medical services in the specialty of Internal Medicine to adults through the continuum of hospital care, admitting and treating patients in the emergency department, monitoring their health in the critical care unit and organizing post-acute care; examine, diagnose, and treat hospitalized patients suffering from common health problems as well as serious and chronic illnesses; prescribe or administer medication and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness and disease, as needed; analyze medical records and test results to diagnose medical conditions; request necessary treatments and tests, discuss test results and prescribed treatments with patients, and consult with specialty physicians where appropriate; communicate with the patients outpatient physician throughout the hospital stay of the patient; monitor patients' condition and progress; and collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports, and examination results.
Requirements:
Must have M.D. or D.O. or foreign degree equivalent, have completed Internal Medicine residency training, and have a valid Indiana medical license.

Hours:
7:00 am to 7:00 pm; Monday through Sunday, 1 week on/1 week off
