Job Overview

Starting pay rate at $37.50/hour The Life Support Program Coordinator develops, implements, and delivers AHA education courses, including, but not limited to Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Basic Life Support. Responsibilities include course management, AHA instructor support, RQI management/support and evaluation and improvement of the program. The Life Support Coordinator is a PALS, ACLS, and BLS instructor.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Respiratory Therapy. Experience: Three (3) years of experience as an AHA Instructor. Certification(s): BLS/CPR from the American Heart Association (AHA) with at least six (6) months left before expiration is required upon hire. Current Colorado Driver's License with good driving record. ACLS Instructor certification or PALS Instructor certification at time of hire (must obtain remaining ACLS Instructor certification or PALS Instructor certification, within six (6) months of hire). Licensure(s): Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Colorado is required or Colorado Respiratory Therapist License, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory
